Summary
Remarking that he has no more political information than what will be found in the newspapers, but remarking that "Truth is out of the question. Each party says and believes just what suits themselves without Decency or Moderation, and a neutral Party is detested by both. A philosopher has no more chance among them than a Cat in Hell." Mentioning the Middlesex petition; remarking that his family is well; asking him to confirm Mr Cox's report that Mackrabie is flourishing in America. With a postscript mentioning that Rosenhagen has become a great partisan for Wilkes.
