Describing a two-week trip with three other men to Bath, during which "we travelled like Gentlemen, & lived like Rakes;" reporting that Wilkes has been elected Alderman of Farringdon without and noting that the Middesex elections "raised such a Ferment that even America has been laid aside, & Corsica not once thought of." Mentioning that his family is well and complaining that his health began to fail as soon as he returned from his life of debauchery in Bath.
