Summary
Noting that he feels better from his cold and went out walking that day; asking for Gracie's address in Iowa so he can send a nice copy of his "Am. Institute piece from Boston" ["After all, not to create only"]; regretting that Arthur Price's vessel sailed an hour before he went to the port to visit him; instructing her to cross out "Department of Justice" on the envelopes she uses to mail him letters. Continuing the letter on "Wednesday afternoon Jan. 24:" Noting that his cold was a false alarm; hoping that George and Lou do not move to Milwaukee as it is so far away; mentioning that he likes his new position in the Treasury Office, noting that although it is busier and he does not have an office to himself, the work is easier.
