Summary
Collection consists of 100 letters from Wellington to Thomas Raikes, one letter to Lord Alvanley and one from Lord Aberdeen to Wellington. This volume contains forty letters to Raikes as well as the letter to Lord Alvanley and the letter from Lord Aberdeen. Letters to Raikes concern primarily international affairs with particular focus on the importance of maintaining good relations between England and France.
