Summary
Concerning his contribution to Harmon's compilation Take my advice: saying he is glad to hear that Simon & Schuster will publish it. Noting, however, that he initially (in 1990) was pleased to send him the work for free "since you were evidently young and moneyless" but remarking that since he has "landed a good mainstream publisher ... there's no reason not to have your publisher pay the contributors" and disagreeing with some points in the contract. The verso contains the printed contract in dispute, which has been heavily edited by Vollmann.
