Summary
Concerning sending Agnes's mare to her in Yorkshire; mentioning that Lady Murrays and Lady Charlotte Wentworth were able to visit the house that morning despite a terrible storm. Continuing the letter on Thursday night, 3rd: remarking that a string of visitors prevented him from finishing the letter and sending it in that day's post; saying that he is very happy to hear Agnes has recovered from her cold; regretting that he has no news to send but referencing unrest in France and "Pandaemoniac" proposals to the National Convention, remarking "would you have believed, even three months ago, that that repaire of two-legged hyenas could have invented new atrocities to add to their mass of crimes?"
