Summary
Regretting to hear that she is ill and accusing them of being intemperate with their activities, noting that both are delicate and "far from strong." Instructing Mary to fully recover their health before starting back to England; noting that he cannot write about the French even though that is all he heard of the previous day and wishing they were already ensconced at Cliveden; noting that Mrs. Damer is having trouble with her leg. Continuing the letter on Thursday noon: expressing concern for their healths and safety should they travel before fully recovered. With a postscript advising Agnes to take St. James's Powder as a preventative measure.
