Thanking her for a letter; remarking that Mrs. Damer looks as well if not better than ever before, and that together they called on Mrs. Cholmeley; remarking on her and Agnes's accomplishments; responding to her inquiries about people she has met, as to whether or not he knows them; referencing the trial of Warren Hastings; mentioning the Duchess of Albany and others. Continuing the letter on Thursday night: reporting on "the interview of the two Queens" [the Duchess of Albany and Queen Charlotte]; mentioning that Boswell has "at last published his long-promised life of Dr. Johnson." Continuing the letter on Friday one o'clock: mentioning that her two friends [Mrs. Damer and Mrs. Cholmeley].
