Summary
Hoping that their travel conditions are favorable; discussing Agnes's watercolor of Wolsey, mentioning that it was praised by the Duchess of Gloucester and Milbourne before they knew who it was by. Continuing the letter that night, mentioning that he dined with the Guilfords, where he was introduced to a game called Bandalore. Apologizing in advance for the frequency of his letters, and instructing them to not write him so often since they must see the sights, write to other friends, and re-establish their healths. Continuing the letter on Wednesday night, 13th: thanking her for a letter; expressing anxiety at the travel conditions; noting that [their cousin Miss Seton] will post the next letter and that he will save this one to be posted to Turin. Continuing the letter on Friday, 15th: noting that the storm on Tuesday "terrified me beyond measure" and expressing his great relief at learning from Mrs. D[amer] that the Berrys have landed safely.
