Clarifying the postscript "I will" in an earlier letter to mean that he accepts an invitation; suspecting that he is "a little in love" and that she is not, otherwise she would have understood his intention. Referring to Agnes and remarking "I am not less in love with my wife Rachel, than with my wife Leah."
