Summary
Quoting from a letter he received from Vicomte de Noé who said he translated an article which he sent to the magazine and since he hasn't heard anything back he is assuming it was accepted and would like payment; wondering if anyone at the Cornhill knows anything about it as he does not remember it; saying he had "the note in my pocket & came into the City with it to day: but was in such a state of (bladder) irritation that I came back again. If you have paid it: it will be to great fun. He is the brother of the caricaturist Cham but I never to my knowledge set eyes on him."
