Saying he has received "a great pile of Dramatic Reminiscences" from a fellow Garrick Club member and an actor, Mr. Drinkwater Meadows; saying that they "certainly wont do for CornHill and I cant conceive that the public would endure them. Will S. E & Co write me a polite letter declining the treat?--I can forward the MS & fatal letter to poor Meadows."
