Summary
Commenting on the importance of an article in the Cornhill Magazine titled "The Stonghold of England" and saying that they "ought to make a great stir with it: to send it to every minister and M.P.--to get up a city meeting about it--It is a prodigious help to the magazine. I will, if you like, write personally to every minister whom I know, beseeching his attention to the article."
