Summary
Hoping to finish "Philip" so it may be published in July; saying that a year ago he asked Francisque Michel to write an article and he now wants to do it; commenting that Leech has a drawings exhibition that he [Thackeray] has promised to review in the Times but commenting that it would make a good Roundabout; adding that when "Philip is done we think of a little turn to Petersburg & Moscow. I know who will pay for the journey."
