Summary
Mentioning a delightful evening he had with several jovial men in the Oxford common-room. Remarking that he has never known happier days than the last four or five that he spent with the Brookfields at Clevedon. Describing an excursion from Oxford the previous day to Blenheim. Regretting to hear that she became ill from the journey to London and asking if he should come straight away; remarking "no -- you wouldn't let me in. I will come on Friday." Remarking on how she would have enjoyed his excursion and the sumptuous Magdalen Chapel. Concluding the letter later in the day, mentioning on a beautiful library he saw.
