Summary
Thanking him for the cuttings; commenting on "Man Alone" and "Castle Cottage" by Horsnell; saying that he and Horsnell were friends and that Horsnell's review of his novel "was at once suspect by me as the product of excessive good nature;" saying that he has heard that Richard Church has also reviewed his novel and that it "made him very unhappy. I hope it won't have that effect on the Turners."
