Summary
Drawing shows a woman in long white robes kneeling between two men in an archway, her arms raised to stop their sword fight. The men are in a combination of Scottish costume (tartan kilts and shawls) and Classical costume (gladiator sandals and helms that look Roman), bearing swords and shields. The background includes columns and soldiers in the distance. Signed by Cruikshank in the lower left corner.
