Sharing her travel plans, noting that she arrives in London on the 4th and will leave for an American reading tour on the 18th; inviting her and Kenneth to dine at the Sesame Club on the 13th; saying she feels terrible about what has happened to John Hayward (referring to T. S. Eliot's marriage to Valerie Fletcher), noting that "Tom was John's whole life - he was so proud of him, and now, I suppose, he has nothing left but his desperate illness, his paralysis, his deformity, his terrible cruel physical humiliation!" Asking after their health and complaining about people who sneeze in church.
