Saying that what he is working on will not interfere with his [Croker's] work on LaFayette; adding "You are much better acquainted with the history of the French Revolution than I am;" saying he has been reading his Boswell and will send along his comments which are "of little consequence, but I will commit them to writing shortly if it be only to evince with what care I have perused the book."
