Summary
Noting that being made a Dame has inspired all her acquaintances to tell her all about their marital troubles; remarking on a play based on her and Osbert; mentioning mutual acquaintances; remarking that she dreads curtsying to the Queen during her decoration ceremony, noting "I have such bad arthritis I can hardly bend my knees, and either I shall fall at the Queen's feet, or else ... I shall bring her down with me in a kind of death-grapple!!!" Mentioning that she will give a performance of the Façade on Saturday; hoping that Sir Laurence nd Lady Olivier will play King Henry and Anne Boleyn in the film.
