Summary
Thanking them for sending a cable on hearing of Dylan Thomas' death. Reporting that Caitlyn Thomas telegraphed him "You have left me no alternative but suicide or the sheets. Hate. Caitlin," and that "from that moment he never stopped drinking." Discussing his final days and death, noting "I was devoted to Dylan" and remarking that he was "the only great young poet."
