Summary
Thanking him for his book on Florentine painting; describing her depressed state resulting from the visit of her lifelong friend (who had been in Paris during the occupation); saying she is going to copy out some of her poems and have them bound for the Clarks; hoping that he and Jane have recovered from recent illnesses and mentioning her terrible cold; mentioning that she told Pavel Tchelitchew she would try to solicit an essay on his recent work for publication in a magazine, and asking Clark which magazine would be most suitable.
