Thanking her for the memorable visit to Brantwood; saying he is "particularly grateful that you kindly received me in the room I have for years wished to see & by so doing enabled me to associate with it a personality of the name which must be ever dear to all lovers of Ruskin;" saying he has with him an example of Maori art which he will leave as a "votive offering at the shrine of "The Master" to whom I am indebted."
