Followed by a letter (1 1/2 p.) from her son Victor to Dr. Benjamin Phillips.
Contains a reference to the "valour and conduct in Monmouth" of a Mr. Phillips, as well as injuries suffered by him. In June 2022, Professor Debra Lindsay identified this individual as Sir Thomas Phillips (1801-1867), who had recently been wounded in the Chartist uprising in Newport, Monmouthshire.
