Summary
Saying he is sure that "The Duchess of Albany will be deeply touched by your remembrance of her Daughter [Princess Alice] on this happy occasion;" saying that the Duchess has not received the letter yet and suggested it may have been mislaid; saying that "Mr. Ruskin was always so kind to the Princess and so devoted to her Father;" concluding with a postscript, appearing to be in the same hand, saying "The letter with others has been found in the pocket of a carriage. They must have been given to The Duchess as she started to the Station, put in the pocket & forgotten. She is sorry."
