Asking him to examine a list (2 p., following) of acquaintances and to send cards [announcing the death of Lady Scott] to those who may not have yet received them. With a postscript discussing his daughter Anne's health, noting that she has had many fainting fits but is otherwise "firm and quite composed." Followed by an additional postscript concerning hiring an assistant.
