Inquiring after the health of Ruskin; saying that he will be returning to London in the next few weeks; saying "It is rather forlorn this winding up of life--One's friends fall off one after the other: and those that are left turn wrinkled and yellow--while the vital juice dries out of our own veins;" expressing hope that Ruskin will recover fully.
