Collection also includes the indenture of Ruskin's grandfather (MA 7791.1, dated 1776), and a pedigree of the Ruskin family compiled by W. G. Collingwood.. Summary
Expressing grave concern at Margaret's ill health; saying "Indeed it is cruel to let Margt [sic] sink in this way. We must do something to save her or you must lose me...will you & my dear Father assure Margt [sic] that you have both become reconciled to our union & be happy--or will you see her & me both fall sacrifices to this anxiety;" concluding by saying "Margts [sic] fate & mine are one."
