Collection also includes the indenture of Ruskin's grandfather (MA 7791.1, dated 1776), and a pedigree of the Ruskin family compiled by W. G. Collingwood.. Giving her some family history as it relates to the Adairs and Tweddales; adding in a postscript "When you were at Wigtown the School girls would not call you Joanna but Jo. and to get rid of this appellation it was decided to call you Annie and I think that it is quite time now that your original name should always be used."
