Collection also includes the indenture of Ruskin's grandfather (MA 7791.1, dated 1776), and a pedigree of the Ruskin family compiled by W. G. Collingwood.. This collection was part of Helen Gill Viljoen's large bequest of John Ruskin-related material (formerly MA 3451).

Summary: 

Informing the recipient that Mrs. Tweddale is very ill and requires the assistance of a doctor; saying that the recipient had earlier offered to seek the advice of an eminent surgeon and he would like to request that be done as soon as possible; saying that he could rely on a country surgeon but he would not like to in this circumstance.
