Summary
Saying he is sorry his father is "doing so poorly;" telling his mother that he will bear whatever expense she must incur in order for his father to be able to stay in the house; talking of his own health; discussing his wine business and telling her that she knows little of "his disorder when you recommend me to be idle for a month. The more overwhelmed I am with business the better I am."
