Collection also includes the indenture of Ruskin's grandfather (MA 7791.1, dated 1776), and a pedigree of the Ruskin family compiled by W. G. Collingwood.. Relating the news of Jessie's children who have the measles; telling Margaret how unhappy she has been since she left; saying that she will "ever prize" her as if she were her own child and that "I have now the right to look upon you as my daughter is one of the greatest comforts I have at this moment upon Earth."
