Summary
Thanking her for all her kindnesses during their suffering; saying that Mr. Ruskin is still unwell and not able to conduct any business; reporting that her daughter [Janet Ruskin Richardson] is well and that Margaret [Cock] is still with her; reporting that John James has joined Gordon Murphy Co. and is succeeding very nicely; adding that had it not been for the help of her son their situation would have been much worse; sending her best regards.
