Summary
Sending her birthday wishes to Ruskin; saying that she has been ill and has been thinking that "when I pass away from this scene, I shall not pass out of my place in the Coz's [Ruskin's] heart. I do not arrogate to myself a high place--it may indeed be a very humble one--but I can always feel it is mine and will not be emptied or refilled--in any case--which in these days of "palimpsests" is a great comfort."
