Summary
Thanking her for her long letter; discussing the bitterly cold weather and the daffodils that are not yet in bloom; telling her that Ruskin "is growing a beard and moustache;" saying that "he feeds very well on oysters and turtle daily though not at his own expense (how wicked of me to make such base jokes;" describing the gifts of oysters and turtle they have received; adding that Ruskin agreed to see Dr. Parsons and that the visit was going well; saying that she is so glad that the "bad nightmare is ended."
