Summary
Informing her that things were not much changed; saying that Ruskin told her "the only chance for my remaining here in safety was for him to live on the other side of the Lake;" adding "It almost breaks my heart. I'd rather hear him jabbering nonsense then seeming so much himself and yet so insane;" saying the attendant "manages very nicely."
