Summary
Saying he is working on a "single figure of Luini's, life size, which at present is going on well;" saying that "if I don't work, I get too depressed to digest, and if I do work, it affects my head, but i think I have just managed to turn the corner this time and will try and have no more corners to turn--the work pleases me and I think I see my way, if I live and get any measure of strength, to a very tranquil life of useful copying of things that are perishing. But I can't tell yet."
