A small note, signed with Thomas Richmond's initials, is enclosed in this letter and says "Mr. Ruskin's gift to my eldest sister, Constance Richmond, on her marriage (Oct. 4, 1970) to George Hyde Wollaston. A pencil note underneath Richmond's says "A grand piano by Broadwood--used with delight to herself, her family and hundreds of friends till 1926."
