Summary
Expressing delight that the Society has taken him as "papa;" thanking her for the photographs and saying he will be sending her stories and drawings to be kept in the Society "Treasury;" giving detailed advice on how to write stories about animals; adding a note to the top of the letter indicating the form in which he expects her to date her letters; ending with a postscript in which he says he has no idea what the letters "FLC" stand for.
