Provenance

Summary
Expressing irritation with Damon for wanting to see his minerals collection; saying "it is never shown except on occasions of some special mineralogical enquiry"; inquiring about his reasons for wanting to see the collection; indicating he received his card "without a word of introduction"; he agrees to show him "any particular mineral you are interested in" but only in the afternoon as "his mornings are never allowed to be broken in upon."
