Commenting on the success of his dinner party; describing his futile attempt at securing an invitation to see Miss [Susan Dwight?] Bliss's impressive library; refering to "the enclosed" from Sydney Cockerell, "which partly explains itself" [appears to be an offer for Rogers and Kent to stay at a house he has arranged for in Cambridge], but complaining of the unnecessary costs involved; expressing his desire that they go together to Walker's country home, Daneway, and describing Walker's improved health.
