Summary
Praising his epistolary skills; reporting on his own health ("I "have been out of order with a difficulty of urine, & am better") and that of mutual acquaintances. Describing the completion of his Grotto, noting "I have conveyd into it three falls of water, which break very naturally over two Rocks of Cornish Diamonds & Plymouth marbles, and murmur in a Cavern till they run out of sight. But this is an ill-timed pleasure, which may cost me a cold; unless I have the prudence & patience (two uncommon Virtues) to wait till next Summer to enjoy it."
