Informing him that he sent two memos to the Comte de Starhemberg by Mr. Jarry [François Jarry de la Vilette] and pressed him to do all he can to place the latter as an Officer; saying that he is furious that an administrator affixed seals on his Paris house and that he will not let his belongings be sold for the benefit of the nation without a fight; discussing strategies to save the Queen [Marie-Antoinette]; rejoicing at the news of England's official entry into the war against France; discussing military strategies.
