Summary
Includes the following items: autograph manuscript of a poem beginning "While fruitfull Nile ador'd his horned Queen" (p. 1-2); two lines in Latin in Lady Mary's hand (p. 2); autograph manuscript of a poem published as "Epigram" and beginning "born to be slaves our Fathers freedom sought" (p. 2); and a copy in Lady Mary's hand of a poem beginning "Venus to ye courts above" (p. 3-4). The author of the final poem ("Venus to ye courts above") has not been identified, but it was probably written as a verse compliment to Lady Mary.
