Saying that he is frustrated with delays in the mail that prevent him from receiving news from her; sending her a copy of the Appendix de L'Observador to show her its attempts at discrediting the lineage of the Bourbon de Sicile in Spain; forwarding her also a copy of the Gazette containing articles on the relationship between Bonaparte and the Archduchess as well as news of the guerilla.
