Part of a large collection of letters related to Jérôme Bonaparte. Letters in the collection are described in individual records. See MA 775 and MA 771 for more information.
The first letter (p. 1-2) is from Louis Bohle, Jérôme Bonaparte's secretary, to "les frères Livio à St. Petersbourg," asking them on behalf of the Princesse de Montfort (Catherine Bonaparte) why her pension no longer reaches her on time. The second letter (p. 3-4) is from the banker Torlonia to "mon Prince" (presumably Jérôme Bonaparte), informing him of a financial problem.
