Dating: Letter is undated, but "1913?" is penciled in an unknown hand in the upper right corner. However, Lohr and Loraine became engaged in early October, 1910, and the plays mentioned point to this letter having been written in 1910: Smith debuted in 30 September 1909, running for 168 performances, and Grace (Landed Gentry) debuted in London on 15 October 1910. Both play were published in 1913.
