Telling him that he has recommended him to Mr. Malcolm Johnson "to make curtains for his Long Island house"; asking him to "be as reasonable as [he] can" with Malcolm Johnson; noting that he is "very much pleased with the console table" but will need a carpenter to make it fit over the radiator; wondering if he can get a second table like it; complaining about some lampshades that don't fit and telling Thomas Johnson that he is "very unfortunate at [his] efforts to be a decorator."
