Reporting that he unpacked the sofa and armchairs and was "very much annoyed to find that the two arm-chairs are not the same pattern"; saying that he thinks Macy's should change one of them; noting that he is "looking forward anxiously to the arrival of the rest of the things"; remarking that he is "taking up the matter of the bridge chairs which Macy's claim had not been paid for with the heads of the firm."
