Collection consists of three locks of John Keats's hair, all accompanied by attestations identifying the locks. One (MA 214.8) was taken by Joseph Severn while Keats lay on his deathbed in Rome; the other two (MA 214.9-10) were cut in 1820 prior to his journey to Italy.
